Email and SMS campaigns for a landscaping or lawn care company
Your customer list is the cheapest revenue in this business and almost nobody in the trade works it. A maintenance customer who already trusts you is the natural buyer for aeration, mulch, leaf cleanup, holiday lighting and irrigation start-up. Selling one more service to an existing account costs a text message. Selling the same job to a stranger costs $40 to $220 in ad spend.
The calendar does most of the work. Aeration and overseed in late summer, cleanup in October, irrigation blowout in November, mulch and cleanup in March, fertilizer or mosquito programs in May. One text per season per service, sent to the right segment, with a real price range and two date options.
The mistake is one list and one message. A hardscape customer does not want a mowing offer. Split by what they bought and whether they are active, and reply rates roughly double. Two weeks in, a company with 300 past customers should have booked work off a single send.
